Getting Started
SWAT 3 gives you the option of playing online, either over a LAN (Local Area Network), or the Internet. To start a multiplayer game from the main menu, click the tab marked Multiplayer. The multiplayer menu will appear.

Main Menu Options
The multiplayer menu contains several options for you to choose from:

LAN Games
This option will search your Local Area Network for SWAT 3 games and then display them. To join a LAN game, click its name and then the Join tab. You can create your own LAN game by clicking the Create tab. Both choices will take you to a SWAT 3 game room. To return to the main multiplayer menu, click the Cancel tab.

Internet Games
If you'd like to find or set up an Internet SWAT 3 game, choose this option. A list of available Internet games will be displayed for you to choose from. Simply click the name of the game you wish to join and then the Join tab. If you'd like to create your own game room, click the Create tab. To return to the main multiplayer menu, click the Cancel tab.
