General Technical Issues

Alt-Tab can cause window blackout in Win95/98SE after shifting from full screen to windowed mode
This issue manifests after you have set TRIBES 2 to play in windowed mode. If you then Alt-Tab out of the game and back in again, the game window will not refresh, thereby leaving the area inside the window completely black. You can work around this issue by cycling the multi-task again: Alt-Tab to the game icon and then all the way through your application icons a second time without stopping until you reach the game icon once again. The game should refresh normally at this point.

Tribes 2 First Aid Utility (Version 2)
A small percentage of PC hardware combinations will produce an incomplete installation of Tribes 2. The main symptom of an incomplete installation is an abrupt interruption of gameplay when a required resource cannot be found. The Tribes 2 First Aid Utility can be used to detect and fix incomplete installations.
