Combat Sequences

One of the big differences between the Quest for Glory series and other adventure games is the presence of player controlled combat sequences. How will combat look in the new game?

In previous Quest for Glory games the combat interface was separate from the main game interface. When combat would occur, the player was locked into a static combat screen, where there was little freedom of movement other than a small selection of combat attack and defense moves. In Dragon Fire, combat occurs in the main panorama, where the player can move freely while battling enemies.

I hear that combat itself is a little more flexible.

A player can approach combat in two ways. The player can either use a simple mouse interface to control their movement and attacks, or more complex keyboard controls to outmaneuver their enemy.
