What is the release date of Quest for Glory V?

Please call your local software retailer for availability!

Quest for Glory V isn't available yet in my country.  How can I get a copy right away?
International customers may order the game direct from the Sierra Store.

Are there any plans to release the game in languages other than English?
Yes, we plan to localize Quest for Glory V for major international markets. We will post international release dates as soon as they become available.

Is there a Mac version planned?
Yes! Quest for Glory V is a hybrid game and will launch on MAC at the same time as PC.

What are the system requirements for Quest for Glory V?

Windows 95/98
Minimums: Pentium 166MHz, 6xCD-ROM, 32 MB RAM, 450 MB free hard disk space, SVGA 640 x 480 @ 16 bit high color (Direct X Compatible), Direct X compatible sound card for audio.
Preferred: Pentium 200 MHz, 8x CD-ROM.

Macintosh
Minimums: Mac OS 7.5 or higher, 120 MHz Power PC, 6x CD-ROM, 32 MB RAM, 450 MB hard disk space, 16-bit video (thousands of colors). Preferred: 180 MHz PowerPC, 8XCD-ROM

How many CD-ROMs will Quest for Glory V occupy?
2 CD-ROMs - one install and one game CD.

How much will Quest for Glory V cost? Can I pre-order through the Sierra On-Line Store?
The suggested retail price is $49.95. Buy the game anywhere software is sold or order direct through the Sierra Store

Will Quest for Glory V require a 3D-accelerator card?
Quest for Glory V will not require 3D acceleration hardware. We've taken care of all the 3D rendering through our software engine.

Will there be a new demo?
Look for a new demo in early 1999.

Do I need to have an original character from Quest for Glory 1 - 4 to play Quest for Glory V?
No. Quest for Glory V is an entirely new game and does not require an earlier version.

Will there be any way to use my old Quest for Glory character in Quest for Glory V?
Yes! It is possible to import a character from any previous game. 

What character classes will be in Quest for Glory V?
Players may choose to play as a fighter, thief, or wizard.  If you have played a previous game in the series, you can import a Paladin.
For players new to to the series, a Paladin saved game is included on the game CD-ROM.  

Will all the characters be able to use any weapon/armor?
Any character may use an item found withing the game as long as the they can meet the usage requirements. Magic is a different matter - only characters with magic abilty can cast spells.

Are there other non-player characters other than the ones listed on the website?
Yes, the NPCs shown on the website are just some of the ones you'll meet early on in the game. As the days go by in your quest to be king, you'll meet many more NPCs and monsters.

Will Quest for Glory V include cheat codes?
Perhaps. Perhaps Not. Try asking fellow gamers for little known hints and cheats on the forum. 

Can I have a list of all the spells/skills/items/weapons/armor in the game?
Part of the fun in Quest for Glory V is discovering a particular item or weapon, and we don't want to give away too much.

Is there a hint book or strategy guide available?
Yes. Look for Prima's Official Strategy Guide to Quest for Glory V by Rick Barba at better book and software stores everywhere.

I'm stuck. Is there anywhere I can go to find a hint? 
Yes.  For a free hint, mail your question to Sierra On Line, P.O. Box 53210, Bellevue, WA 98015 USA.

The Quest for Glory V Soundtrack is available through the Sierra Store.
