SWAT 2 Single, "Just Another Day in L.A." Released

Announcing the worldwide release of "Just Another Day in L.A.", the hard hitting theme song from the hit game, SWAT 2.

"Just Another Day in L. A." features lead vocals by nationally syndicated studio singer Randall Porter, who (in spite of all his fame and fortune) still works his day job as a Probation Officer for the State of Utah.

The musical bridge of "Just Another Day in L. A." is overlaid with clips of actual cross talk and police dispatch recorded during the 1997 Hollywood bank robbery. Sound designer Jason Ramirez was the mastermind behind this sonic heist.

Most of the really cool lyrics in "Just Another Day in L. A." were written by SWAT 2's game designer Susan Frischer. Because of her personal rapport with Daryl Gates and several LAPD SWAT officers, she wrote the lyrics with their real-life stories in mind.

The music was written and produced by Chance Thomas, whose only connection to law enforcement involves 13 traffic tickets he once received in a single year. Currently he drives a bright red, Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR-4 Twin Turbo, just to make sure he doesn't draw any unnecessary attention.
