SIERRA STUDIOS ANNOUNCES ARCANUM
Role-Playing Game Due to Ship Summer 2000
Bellevue, WA (October 4, 1999) - Sierra Studios today announced Arcanum: Of Steamworks
and Magick Obscura, the RPG due to ship next summer from the core team that brought the
gaming world the award-winning RPG Fallout™ in 1997. This game marks the first project
from that core team with their newly formed company, Troika Games, based in Irvine,
California. Named for the world it is set in, Arcanum is staged in the late 1800s
in an industrial revolution environment filled with magic, sorcery and magnificent
machinery. The first chapter of ongoing Arcanum-based fiction for this epic game
is being published exclusively on CNET's Gamecenter today at www.gamecenter.com.
