HOMEWORLD SHIP DATE ANNOUNCED

World-Wide Simultaneous Launch Planned

BELLEVUE, WA (June 3, 1999) -- Sierra Studios and Relic Entertainment announced today the official ship date of the highly anticipated real-time strategy game, Homeworld. Based on its strong, supportive showing at E3 and in an effort to coordinate a concurrent, worldwide launch, Homeworld will be released to retail outlets around the world on September 1, 1999.

"Homeworld is finally on the homestretch to be released to market," said Dan Amdur, product manager for Homeworld. "It became clear to us at E3 that coordinating with our North American, European, South American, Asian and Australian marketing partners is the best way to launch the game because of the game's worldwide appeal."

Combining elements of space combat, strategic play and action, Homeworld promises to deliver elements of the most popular genres into a fresh 3-D game play experience. It is the debut release from Vancouver, B.C.-based Relic Entertainment. More information about the game can be found at the following URL: www.homeworld.net.
