SIERRA STUDIOS TO TAKE E3 BY STORM WITH DIVERSE AND EXCITING LINEUP

Sierra FX Development Team Fully Integrated Within Sierra Studios

Sierra Studios, a member of the Sierra On-Line family, today announced a varied lineup of titles to be showcased at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles in the South Hall booth #600 May 13th-15th. Continuing the momentum established by the unprecedented success and acclaim of its flagship title, Half-Life, Sierra Studios will present a slate of eight groundbreaking titles. The lineup includes Half-Life: Opposing Force, Team Fortress 2: Brotherhood of Arms, Homeworld, Babylon 5 Space Combat Simulator, Gabriel Knight III: Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned,Orcs: Revenge of the Ancient, Pharaoh and will debut SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle. Sierra Studios also officially announced its completed integration of Sierra FX, further establishing the group as one of the preeminent development arms within Sierra On-Line.

SIERRA STUDIOS TITLE LINEUP:

HALF-LIFE: OPPOSING FORCE
In Half-Life: Opposing Force, players return to the Black Mesa Research Facility to engage in an entirely new episode of single player action and will be offered an enormous variety of new multiplayer content. Gamers play a soldier this time around, instead of Gordon Freeman. Having the option of playing on the opposing force, the player will experiment with a host of new military, experimental and alien weapons. Also a key feature will be to battle a fierce new alien race as well as interaction with more human characters. Finally, in addition to the extensive new single player experience, gamers will compete in new multiplayer maps designed by industry all-stars.

TEAM FORTRESS 2: BROTHERHOOD OF ARMS
In Team Fortress 2, the next title from the makers of Half-Life, players will experience the thrill of battle while performing as part of a team or battle squadron. In addition to nine unique character classes, the game also features 20 unique maps with objectives that range from traditional Capture-the-Flag styles of play to spy missions and beyond, including complex missions similar to those found in real-time strategy games.

HOMEWORLD
An evolutionary step in gameplay and technology, Homeworld simultaneously delivers cinematic-quality graphics, stunning special effects, beautifully rendered ships and an innovative interface. In addition, players have unparalleled freedom to view epic space confrontations from any position imaginable - whether from an eagle eye's view above or piggy-backed on the roof of a fighter in mid-battle. Combining elements of space combat, strategic play and action, Homeworld promises to deliver elements popular genres in a totally fresh experience.

SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle
"CQB" is based on real life L.A.P.D. SWAT tactics with missions ripped from today and tomorrow's headlines. Motion capture technology and real SWAT officer's movement make CQB's gameplay very realistic. Photographic resources for faces and clothing help to create real world characters out of 3D models. Dynamic lighting coupled with environments built to scale with photographic resources make the world in CQB extremely lifelike. Players will command a five-man SWAT team and prepare to take on more than 100 of the most vicious terrorists and criminals Los Angeles has to offer.

PHARAOH
Pharaoh is set in ancient Egypt during the period when the great pyramids were built. This simulation allows players to build majestic Egyptian cities and watch them come to life. Players will experience the challenges and thrills of building pyramids of such vast proportions that they are still listed first among the great wonders of the world.

BABYLON 5: SPACE COMBAT SIMULATOR
Babylon 5: Space Combat Simulator is based on the highly popular Babylon 5 TV series created by science-fiction "guru", J. Michael Straczynski. The game features a real-time 3D, first-person space combat combined with a dynamic AI system and a robust strategy component. Players will be able to experience the game as both a story-driven single player game as well as go head to head in ruthless-or cooperative-multiplayer games.

ORCS: REVENGE OF THE ANCIENT
Orcs Revenge of the Ancient will be available in stores this November, produced by Berkeley Systems, Inc. and published by Sierra Studios. Set in the world of Middle-earth from J.R.R Tolkien's internationally acclaimed trilogy The Lord of the Rings, the upcoming Orcs Revenge of the Ancient is a fantasy strategy game that casts the player as an Orc chieftain caught in the middle of a deadly power struggle. Players will be able to custom equip, train, and then fight the Orcs against over 30 enemies before taking them online for multiplayer mayhem.

GABRIEL KNIGHT III: BLOOD OF THE SACRED, BLOOD OF THE DAMNED
Blood of the Sacred, Blood of the Damned is Jane Jenson's third Gabriel Knight mystery. Based on a real-life enigma, GK3 puts you high in the mountains of France, in the unassuming town of Rennes-le-Chateau. The compelling plot takes place in a real-time 3D virtual world featuring highly detailed 3D animated characters.
