SIERRA STUDIOS SIGNS FORMER IGUANA STARS FOR MULTI-PRODUCT CONSOLE DEAL WITH NEWLY FORMED INEVITABLE ENTERTAINMENT
Bellevue, WA (May 10, 2000) - Sierra Studios, a member of the Sierra On-Line family, today
announced a strategic partnership with Austin, Texas-based Inevitable Entertainment, Inc. to
develop console games for Sierra Studios. This marks the division's significant foray into
the console arena and the first in a series of principal relationships with experts in console
development for Sierra Studios.
The recently created Inevitable Entertainment is a new alliance from three of the top vice-presidents
from Iguana, Acclaim's powerhouse Austin-based development team. With a combined 30 years experience
in the video game industry and over five years at Iguana, Russell Byrd, Cyrus Lum, and Craig Galley
will be ramping up their new teams in the coming months to deliver exceptional console gaming
experiences for Sierra Studios. The impressive credits from this team include best-selling titles
Turok, All Star Baseball, the South Park series, and Quarterback Club.
The multi-product slate of console games charges Inevitable to produce state of the art console
specific titles using Sierra's intellectual properties as well as developing Inevitable's own
intellectual properties for the next generation console systems.
