Overview

Team Fortress ™ 2, using MRM technology, will dynamically scale the resolution of models for optimal viewing and performance. This will allow TF ™ 2 to contain more models and display them at unprecedented levels of detail and realism. The following screenshots from 3DS MAX demonstrate how models in the distance will be rendered with fewer polygons, enhancing performance without visibly sacrificing image quality.
