Doug Oldfield
Audio Engineer/SFX Designer The Quest For Glory V: Dragon Fire team would like to say a hearty "Welcome aboard!" to ace programmer Doug Oldfield. According to Mark Zechiel, programming manager, "Doug is a great addition to the team. He was in very high demand and I literally had to kill another manager to get him. His contribution will allow us to easily achieve our project goals. And, as a well-known world champion kayaker, he brings with him that undeniable celebrity buzz that most projects can only dream about." Doug, whose whereabouts remain a mystery, recently had this to say in a rare telephone interview with Larry King. "After dominating the world of figure skating for so long," he says, "I thought it was time to take on other, more diverse challenges. Working on Quest For Glory V: Dragon Fire allows me many new and exciting avenues of creativity while also leaving time for my busy acting career." In addition to being hair stylist to the stars, Doug divides his time between his other passions; climbing Mount Everest and working on practical home light bulb repair. "Why throw away a broken light bulb," he says knowingly, "when you can fix it with my revolutionary new 'Practical Home Light Bulb Repair Kit.'" Celebrity spokesperson Gary Coleman says, "Since I started using Doug's 'Practical Home Light Bulb Repair Kit,' I threw out all my other light bulb repair kits. It's the wave of the future!" You can see Gary and watch an amazing demonstration of the 'Practical Home Light Bulb Repair Kit' on Doug's show, 'Stunning Breakthrough Discoveries' weeknights at 1:45am on Channel 52. Doug knows all the lyrics to the Gilligan's Island theme. |
