Cleopatra Rules the Nile in New Pharaoh Expansion Pack
March 6, 2000 - Cleopatra, one of the most famous rulers of all time, will soon live again through a new Expansion Pack for Pharaoh. Called Pharaoh Official Expansion: Cleopatra, the pack will feature a new campaign centered on the Queen of Kings and other notable rulers from the New Kingdom and later periods, including Ramses II and Tutankhamen.

In addition to the new missions, Cleopatra will also add a myriad of new buildings to Pharaoh. You'll be able to build monuments such as the Colossi of Ramses II, the temple of Amon-Re at Karnak, the exquisite tombs in the Valley of the Kings and the library and lighthouse at Alexandria.

These new monuments are joined by new buildings to make your cities even more robust and full of life. Lamp Makers, Henna Farms, Tomb Artisans and Painters provide new services to your city and its residents.

Of course, you'll also be faced with a new set of challenges. Enemies from diverse lands such as Persia, Rome, Assyria and Phoenicia will invade your borders, and you'll even have to fend off grave robbers! Luckily, in some scenarios you will have the personal income and troops from the previous scenario to help you battle these foes.

Much more than armies will attack your city, though. You'll also have to find ways of avoiding plagues of hail, frogs and locusts before they kill your citizens.

Pharaoh Official Expansion: Cleopatra will arrive in stores everywhere this summer.
