Sierra Studios Teams Up With a National Chain: Pre-orders have begun for Half-Life™.

BELLEVUE, WA -- Sierra Studios announced today that pre-orders for their upcoming hit PC title Half-Life™ have begun with a major nation-wide retailer. The first-person action shooter game, being developed by Valve, is due to go gold in October and press reaction over the recently released preview copies have been extremely favorable. The game, named "Best PC Game" and "Best Action Game" at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo from Unified Gamer's Online, Best of E3 Show Awards, is in a key position to be a smash hit for the 1998 holiday season.

Customers who pre-order the game through Electronics Boutique from their website (www.ebworld.com) or by visiting a retail store in their area, will receive a black baseball cap with the Half-Life™ lambda insignia emblazoned on the front. A photo of the pre-order reward is available by contacting Sierra Studios PR.

"We are excited to work with EB on offering our customers a value-add to their purchase of Half-Life™," said Scott Lynch senior vice president of Sierra Studios.
