Analysis

Major Parker is and has always been a superlative soldier. As a young Crayven employee, she dreamed of a life among the company's colonial marines. Young Sarah applied for a position in the Crayven Security Forces at 9:13 am Greenwich mean time, on the first day that her papers could be legally submitted--her 13th birthday. She passed a battery of physical, mental and psychological tests with flying colors, and enlisted exactly one year later, upon reaching the age of legal consent. After an exemplary training period (marred only by one or two incidences of excessive force during combat exercises), she entered the Powered Infantry Corps. And Sarah J. Parker served loyally in Crayven's ground forces for only six years before she first distinguished herself in combat on the chilly moon of Wolf 328-2A. During an acquisition operation against an illegal TerraTech claim, her platoon came under heavy fire from TerraTech artillery. Parker, then a Corporal, single-handedly rallied her soldiers and personally destroyed 3 Artillery pieces, which earned her a Bravery Bonus--the first of many.

Parker quickly rose through the ranks while continuing to receive bonus after bonus for her conduct on the battlefield. Although she was wounded in the fighting at Gamma Hydrea 4, her conspicuous gallantry caught the attention of her superiors in the Security Forces, as well as earning her the Osmium Star. She was asked to accept cross-training as a Commando, and she transferred to Crayven's Special Forces branch in 2409. By the age of 28, she had achieved the rank of Major, and was at that time the youngest Major serving on the line.

The most remarkable moment of Sarah Parker's career came some two years later, in 2412. Major Parker's commando unit was stationed at firebase Zulu, on the main continent of Sigma Draconis-4, when war broke out between the Crayven Corporation and the Order of the New Dawn. The Order, which had declared the planet holy ground, filed Jihad on Earth against any corporate holdings which did not immediately evacuate the planet. Before word of the Order's intentions could be relayed to the Crayven forces on Wolf 328, however, the Order launched an all-out attack against all company installations. Firebase Zulu was cut off and subjected to wave after wave of attack. When relief finally arrived, they found no survivors except for a badly wounded Major Parker, whose bunker was surrounded by the bodies of over 800 Dawn Crusaders.

Major Parker has since been a hero throughout the Crayven territories, from Earth to Unger Prime. Because of her inspirational effect on Crayven troops, she has traveled throughout the colonies many times on PR tours-but if you want to find Sarah Parker these days, you've got to be on a battlefield, not a parade ground! Parker prefers to be in the action. She returned to active duty as soon as she could after her heroic stand at Wolf 328.

Recently, Major Parker requested a transfer back to standard ground control forces, where she has remained to this day. Her combat skills are still exemplary, and her record is amazing in anyone's book, but Sarah Parker refuses to rest on her laurels. She is one of our elite, and she is exactly the kind of officer that has made and continues to make the Crayven Corporation number one in extraterrestrial holdings.

"Getting out there and doing the job is what I'm all about," says Parker. "There are some things that can't be settled in a boardroom."
