EEU GRADUATE: PETER PARK
Screen name: Park or Park305
Well I was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My parents are a true story of immigration. They're both from Korea another I raised in an American culture, which leaves a few confusing, stuff.
I was first introduced to real RTS gaming back in Spring/Summer of 1998 I believe. I had just gotten a new computer with a demo of AOE in an MSN CD. It looked amazing and after a week, I got the entire AOE/ROR set. I stayed away from multiplayer after my 3 game losing streak, which left me very sad. I instead turned to the scenario editor which gave me fame later in AOK probably as "the guy who knows lots of tricks" I eventually got into multiplayer and played that more of course. I was introduced to EE probably by Rasher very long ago although with the little details I didn't keep a full watch on it, which I shouldn't of, done. I eventually started making EE sites and taking over others, which lead me to EE Heaven where I am today.
In the future, I plan on probably doing some programming which I'm learning now. Maybe even a gaming job if I'm lucky ;)

What was the most impressive feature of Empire Earth?
|
A:
|
That is probably the hardest question. As everyone says the epic scope is no doubt the biggest feature but not my most favorite since I usually stayed with certain epochs. The most impressive feature would have to be the game's variety. Not like games I've played before, players are able to do things differently from the normal build order and still do well. I can remember some people picked towers over a large army. Some do a straight rush while others go defense. In short a person cannot get easily bored with the game.

If you could have been born in any other epic which would it be and why?
|
A:

Another epic? Well obviously not the cavemen time but it would be cool to be a Pharaoh or Japanese Samurai.
I mean you just cannot do those kind of things in today's world... at least without going to jail.

I'm probably looking towards more of the multiplayer now that I've been able to play it.

What was the highlight of Empire Earth University?
|
A:
|
Well the best part of course was being able to play Empire Earth for the first time. After wanting to play it well over a year it was great to finally get my hands on it.
It was still a great pleasure to met Rick, Dara-lynn and all the other SSS staff, some of which I've been able to talk with in the past and finally saw face to face. A lot of the EEU people I've also been able to talk with online but nothing beats being able to see them play next to you and talk with them without ICQ or email as well as meeting new friends.
Thanks!!!
